We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist who demonstrates our values of compassion, accountability, responsiveness and empowerment; to our clients, families and each other.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for coordinating full-cycle recruitment and supporting key talent acquisition priorities, including candidate experience, hiring manager support, recruitment metrics, ATS/HRIS data accuracy, employer branding, and onboarding alignment. This role requires strong administrative, analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
This position plays an important role in ensuring Wesley has timely, consistent, compliant, and effective recruitment processes that support strong candidate experience, early employee success, and data-informed decision-making.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate closely with Human Resources, hiring managers, external recruitment partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
This position is a non-unionized, full-time, permanent position. The rate of pay is $29.00 per hour. This position is 40 hours per week.
This is a hybrid position combining remote and on-site work based on organizational needs. Travel is required occasionally and on an as-needed basis to support in-person meetings, community recruitment events, career fairs, and stakeholder engagements.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for organizational roles, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and offer preparation.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to confirm position requirements, support job description updates, and ensure timely movement through each stage of the recruitment process.
- Use various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, educational institutions, and community partnerships, to support diverse and qualified applicant pools.
- Maintain accurate recruitment, applicant, and candidate data within the ATS/HRIS and support regular reporting on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate source, and hiring trends.
- Support a positive and professional candidate experience through timely communication, consistent follow-up, and clear process coordination.
- Work with HR and Marketing to support employer branding, recruitment campaigns, and talent pipeline initiatives.
- Promote equitable, fair, and unbiased recruitment practices, including structured interviews, standardized evaluation criteria, and consistent documentation.
- Support hiring managers by providing recruitment tools, interview templates, screening guidance, and process reminders.
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, and hiring managers to support onboarding alignment and early employee experience, including tracking required onboarding steps and follow-up where needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment workflows, candidate communication, ATS/HRIS processes, and reporting practices.
What you will bring:

Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in recruitment and employment practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of full-cycle recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination experience.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, employment legislation, and fair selection processes.
- Experience using an ATS, HRIS, or similar system to maintain candidate data, track recruitment workflows, and support reporting.
- Strong administrative, analytical, organizational, and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.
- Readily available vehicle and a valid driver’s license are required.
