Northern Motor Inn is looking for a Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The selected candidate will be responsible for insuring 100% guest satisfaction from the moment the guest arrives until the guest departs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check guests in and out while providing a pleasant experience.
- Issue room keys, pamphlets, vouchers, etc
- Answer questions and inquiries about attractions, dining reservations, events, etc.
- Handle Cash, Debit, and Credit Card authorizations.
- Review all credit card vouchers for proper imprints, authorizations and correct amounts.
- Verify and balance daily charges to customer folios, master accounts and house accounts.
- Observe and report any security issues to management. • Additional duties as required by management.
Skills and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills necessary including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous experience with a property management system an asset. • Detail-oriented and an experienced problem solver. Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
- A team player with positive attitude.
- Eagerness to exceed guest expectations.
- Ability to work weekends and statutory holidays if necessary
