Job Summary:
We currently have an open position for a Warehouse Operator to join our team on the evening shift (Sunday - Thursday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am). This role is responsible for managing the flow of materials and products within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods in accordance with established procedures, while adhering to safety protocols and workplace policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure packaging requirements are met according to customer specification
- Match Bill of Lading (BOL) to physical shipments
- Deliver the required documentation to the appropriate person
- Segregating and properly handling damaged products
- Conduct random inventory audits to maintain accurate physical inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse through daily housekeeping practices
- Comply with AWSA protocols
- Ensure First-In-First-Out (FIFO) standards are followed
- Package and label products for distribution
- Stage loads for shipment and assist with distribution of products
- Support blending, unloading, and loading of tankers, if trained
- Perform repetitive tasks, including motion and lifting on production line
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ warehousing experience required
- Minimum 2 years’ forklift experience required
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work safely and identify potential hazards
- Able to collaborate within a team focus on continuous process improvement
- Able to follow supervisor’s instructions
Working Conditions:
- Able to lift at least 50lbs repetitively
- Availability for overtime as needed
- Capable of identifying and addressing safety issues in the workplace
