Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to join metal parts accurately and securely
- Use plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication machinery to shape and assemble components
- Conduct rigging operations for lifting and positioning heavy materials or assemblies safely using cranes or forklifts
- Measure dimensions precisely with calipers, tape measures, and other measuring devices to ensure parts meet specifications
- Fabricate ductwork, structural frameworks, and custom metal components for manufacturing or construction projects
- Read schematics and technical instructions to assemble complex assemblies accurately while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG), fabrication, or related manufacturing roles
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate machining tools such as press brakes, plasma cutters, and hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate fabrication
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks
- Knowledge of rigging procedures, crane operation, forklift handling, and safety standards in construction or manufacturing environments
- Ability to use calipers, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment proficiently
- Strong understanding of schematics, assembly instructions, and technical documentation
