Steamworks Brewery is looking for full-time Machine Operators to run our bottle, can, and keg production lines at our Burnaby manufacturing facility. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, staying active on the floor, and being part of a fast-paced production team.
You’ll be responsible for keeping our packaging lines running smoothly, supporting general equipment maintenance, and helping produce the beer our customers love. If you are passionate about craft beer and want to get into the industry, this role lets you play a key part in the behind-the-scenes operations that make our beer possible. Morning shift availability (7:00am-3:00pm) is required.
Responsibilities
- Operate bottle, can, and keg production lines
- Perform basic machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Transport raw materials, packaging, and finished products throughout the facility
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks (drag pallets, climb stairs, lift equipment)
- Ability to stay focused and multitask in a production setting
- Team-oriented with a positive, results-driven attitude
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Assets (Nice to Have)
- Previous brewery or manufacturing experience
- Forklift experience
- Passion for craft beer
