Our client is a well established manufacturer and distributor of Rebar and Structural Steel. They are looking for AZ company drivers who are interested in planting their roots with a company that is team oriented and care about their drivers!
Job Details
- Operating flatbeds hauling structural steel and rebar products
- Monday to Friday, Day shift - Start time between 3am-6am
- Occasional Saturday is able
- City and Local Highway, home every night - Downtown Deliveries
- Most trucks are roll-tite, and most often there will be no tarping involved; the driver should be willing and able to tarp if necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances
This is a Direct Hire position working directly for the customer as a full time driver.
Compensation
- $30.25 per hour to start, after 1200 hours pay will increase
- 2 weeks paid vacation
- Company paid benefits and RRSP plan
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of verifiable AZ Commercial driving experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience hauling AZ flatbed loads
- Must be comfortable hauling flatbed loads downtown
- Experience hauling steel preferred but not necessary
- Clean abstract and CVOR
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Customer service oriented – pleasant, friendly demeanor
- Punctuality, work ethic and willingness to learn are all key personality traits
- Knowledge and adherence to safety regulations
