About the Position
We are seeking a skilled, motivated individual with experience in plumbing, electrical systems, controls, and strong computer aptitude to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with water facility refits, facility maintenance, equipment repair and replacement, and monitoring/control systems for pressure truck operations.
This position is based out of Whitecourt, Alberta, with travel throughout the surrounding area required to complete projects and service work.
Responsibilities
- Assist with refitting and upgrading water facilities
- Perform facility maintenance and troubleshooting
- Repair and replace equipment as required
- Work with plumbing, electrical, and control systems
- Assist with pressure truck monitoring and control systems
- Use computer-based systems for diagnostics, monitoring, and controls
- Travel to various job sites in the area as needed
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment
Qualifications
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, and/or industrial controls
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working with computers and control systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license required
- Experience in water handling, oilfield, or industrial environments is considered an asset
