About the Role
Water Softener Edmonton is looking for a friendly, confident and professional Water Quality Representative to represent our company at retail booths, trade shows and community events.
You will be the first point of contact for homeowners interested in learning more about their water quality. Your job is not to pressure customers or sell equipment at the booth. Your focus is to start conversations, educate homeowners, identify their water concerns and schedule qualified in-home appointments for our Water Specialists.
Our Water Specialists complete the water testing, provide recommendations and explain treatment options during the scheduled in-home consultation.
This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys speaking with people, takes initiative and is motivated by performance-based earning opportunities.

Compensation
- $15.00 per hour
- $10.00 bonus for every qualified appointment booked
- No limit on appointment bonuses

Responsibilities
- Proactively greet and engage shoppers in friendly conversation
- Ask homeowners whether they have city water or a private well
- Discuss common water concerns such as hard water, dry skin, white spots, staining, unpleasant taste, odours and mineral buildup
- Explain how our complimentary in-home water evaluation works
- Schedule qualified appointments with our Water Specialists
- Accurately collect customer names, phone numbers, email addresses and home addresses
- Keep the booth clean, organized and welcoming
- Maintain brochures, appointment forms and promotional materials
- Submit complete and accurate appointment information after each shift
- Represent the company professionally and honestly at all times

Professional Expectations
Successful representatives are expected to:
- Arrive 15–30 minutes before each shift
- Dress professionally and wear company apparel when provided
- Stay attentive and off their phone while working
- Keep the booth clean and properly stocked
- Treat every customer respectfully
- Educate customers without pressuring them
- Avoid making medical claims or guaranteeing treatment results
- Never diagnose contaminants or speak negatively about competitors
- Represent Water Softener Edmonton with honesty and integrity
