Haley’s Masonry is a locally owned masonry company known for quality workmanship and reliability. We work on a range of residential and commercial projects, including foundations, brick and block walls, stonework, chimneys, and other structural and decorative masonry.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our growing team. This is a full-time role involving both new construction and repair/restoration projects. The successful candidate will work primarily in Charlotte County and Saint John, with occasional assignments outside these locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, blocks, stone, and other masonry materials to build or repair walls, fireplaces, chimneys, patios, and other structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Mix and apply mortar, grout, and other bonding materials
- Operate and maintain masonry tools, scaffolding, and equipment safely
- Inspect and repair existing masonry work, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Work collaboratively with other team members, contractors, and site supervisors
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Mason or completion of a recognized masonry apprenticeship
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and measurements accurately
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (company vehicle may be provided for some projects)
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
Schedule
- Full-time, typically Monday to Friday
- Occasional evening or weekend work as project timelines require
