Join our team as a Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader and help deliver exceptional landscape maintenance services to our commercial and residential clients. Lead a small to mid-size crew in providing high-quality landscaping services while maintaining a strong focus on professionalism, safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a small to mid-size crew in providing high-quality landscaping maintenance services.
- Operate and safely maintain landscaping tools and equipment.
- Operate a truck and trailer daily for transportation of crew, equipment, and materials.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, weeding, raking, and seasonal cleanups.
- Plant and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, and landscape beds.
- Monitor job quality and ensure work is completed to company standards.
- Train and mentor crew members while promoting a positive team environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
- Complete required inspections, documentation, and daily reporting.
- Communicate professionally with clients and address property maintenance needs as required.
- Lead by example in professionalism, safety, accountability, and proper use of company vehicles and equipment.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Physically demanding work including standing, walking, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Early mornings and occasional extended hours during peak seasons.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of landscape maintenance experience required.
- Experience towing and operating a trailer is required.
- Experience leading or supervising a crew is considered an asset.
- Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and machinery.
- Experience operating a truck and trailer safely and confidently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Smartphone with data plan for communication and attendance tracking.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
