Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Medical Esthetician diploma or certification from a recognized institution
- Valid certifications in laser and advanced aesthetic treatments are considered an asset
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Esthetician
- Experience working in a medical spa, cosmetic clinic, dermatology clinic, or aesthetic practice preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced aesthetic treatments including:
- Laser hair removal
- IPL photofacial treatments
- RF microneedling treatments
- Microneedling procedures
- Chemical peels
- Medical-grade facials
- Skin rejuvenation treatments
- Body contouring and skin tightening treatments
- Conduct thorough client consultations and skin assessments
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Educate clients on skincare products, treatment protocols, and post-care instructions
- Maintain accurate treatment records and clinical documentation
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Process payments and perform cashiering duties
- Ensure treatment rooms, devices, and equipment are maintained according to clinic standards
- Follow all infection prevention and safety protocols
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of skin anatomy and skin conditions
- Experience operating aesthetic devices and technologies
- Proficiency with:
- Facials
- Chemical peel treatments
- Medical-grade skincare products
- Ability to recommend appropriate skincare regimens and treatment plans
