Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locator to join our team. Must have experience with Falcon 5+ locator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately identifying and marking underground utilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations during construction and excavation projects. They will work closely with the drill operator and field crew to safely locate and track the drill head, maintain bore alignment, protect existing utilities, and support productive daily operations.
Duties
- Locate and track drill heads during HDD operations
- Confirm bore path and depth throughout each job
- Review locates and plans before drilling begins
- Work safely around existing underground infrastructure
- Communicate clearly with the operator and crew
- Help maintain safe, efficient production on site
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and utility location
- Minimum 2 years of experience using DigiTrak Falcon F5+
- Able to read locates, maps, and project drawings
- Comfortable working around congested underground utilities
- Valid driver’s licence
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary.

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
