About the Role :
Welcome to LAMOUR BEAUTY AND LIFE! Located in Markham (close to the highway 404), we are a premier destination for K-Beauty, skincare, and lifestyle products.
We are looking for a Traffic Driver—someone who can attract attention, elevate our brand aesthetics, and channel online energy into real foot traffic. As our Social Media Marketing Lead, you will be the strategic brain and the on-camera face of our brand.
In this role, you will handle the social media strategy, campaign planning, and on-camera hosting. You will be supported by our in-house Videographer/Editor, who will handle all the shooting and post-production. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with our broader Marketing department to ensure your content seamlessly supports store promotions and turns online engagement into tangible sales.
What You Will Do :
Drive Traffic & Brand Awareness :
- Act as the engaging, confident on-camera face of LAMOUR for Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu (RED).
- Develop and execute social media strategies that capture attention, highlight K-Beauty trends, and grow our digital footprint.
Convert Engagement to Sales :
- Partner with our Marketing department to push store events, new arrivals, and seasonal campaigns.
- Utilize social media promo codes, calls-to-action (CTAs), and trackable links to drive your audience directly to our physical store and website.
Lead Content Creation :
- Take full ownership of content calendars, brainstorming, and scripting.
- Direct and collaborate with our in-house Videographer/Editor to ensure the final video output perfectly matches your creative vision.
What We Are Looking For :
- Experience: Exactly 2 years of proven experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or campaign planning.
- On-Camera Confidence: You are a natural host. You feel completely comfortable modeling products, talking to the camera, and showcasing skincare routines. (Video examples are mandatory).
- The "Traffic" Mindset: You understand how a "hook" works, how to engage an audience, and the basic mechanics of converting views into store visits.
- Cultural Awareness: A strong understanding of Canada's multicultural landscape. You know how to create inclusive content that resonates with both Asian communities and the broader Western audience interested in K-Beauty.
- Industry Passion: Deep passion for K-Beauty, Asian cosmetics, and modern lifestyle trends.
- Language : Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in a second language (such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, or French) is considered a strong asset to connect with our diverse customer base.
