Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food service operations. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred but not required. Candidates should possess solid time management skills, a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards, and the ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed to support smooth operations
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures diligently
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
- Basic kitchen experience or food industry knowledge is advantageous but not required
