Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Contribute to producing quality food products
- Having ownership and accountability for food preparation and production
- Ensure consistency of product for all guests by way of portion control standards set by the Executive Chef
- Maintain a positive attitude when working with the full kitchen team
- Provide a leadership presence in the kitchen and ensure a friendly and productive relationship with the sales and event management team
- Follow safe food handling techniques and ensure a clean and organized station
- Participate in and oversee the daily kitchen operations at L-Eat Catering facility i.e. executing BEO’s provided by the sales team
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of kitchen experience in a similar and relevant role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- Possesses strong organizational skills
- Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow
- Food Handler’s Certification (preferred but not required)
- Diver’s license (preferred but not required)
