Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential properties. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with safety standards and building codes
- Perform routine maintenance on heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct plumbing and welding tasks as needed for system repairs or installations
- Repair or replace faulty components such as boilers, thermostats, compressors, or ductwork
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades
- Ensure all work complies with local regulations and safety protocols
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems maintenance and repair
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams
- Experience in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair is highly desirable
- Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex mechanical issues
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Mechanic experience preferred for handling diverse equipment repairs
