Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing orders, maintaining customer relationships, and promoting products or services to meet sales goals. The representative works closely with customers to understand their needs, offer solutions, and ensure a positive customer experience while contributing to revenue growth.
Main Responsibilities
Customer Service Duties:
- Communicate with existing and potential customers via phone, email and other digital platforms in support of the outside sales team
- Accept and confirm Purchase Orders and process orders for customers using Infor Visual ERP.
- Ensure accuracy of data entry including quantity, pricing and SKUs selected
- Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate with shipping and sales teams to ensure on time delivery.
- Become an expert on HABCO products and services and provide documentation updates to our knowledge base.
- Assess the nature of product or service issues and resolve basic to complex support problems for customer inquiries received from various sources (training on diagnostic flow charts provided)
Inside Sales Duties:
- Serve as primary point of contact for a list of assigned accounts, responding to all incoming inquiries in a timely manner
- Generate quotations for outside sales team as requested
- Upsell / cross-sell our products and services to enhance customer experience.
- Occasionally attend client meetings or trade shows
Requirements
- ·Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident status
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in similar customer service / inside sales role
- Experience with Infor Visual ERP or similar ERP system considered an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite (excel, word, access, outlook)
- Clear and concise communicator with good phone mannerism
- Proficiency in English is required, preference given to French speaking applicants
- Detail oriented with keen ability to learn complex material (parts drawings, differentiate between model versions, correct SKU selection, etc.)
- Team player who takes initiative to help others when required
- Preference will be given to candidates that are fluent in Canadian French

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
