Job Overview
We are currently hiring a Saw Operator / General Labourer for one of our clients in Colborne, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous manufacturing or saw operation experience who are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate saw equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to specifications.
- Load, unload, and move materials as required.
- Perform general labour duties to support production operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Conduct basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Assist with other production and warehouse tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Saw Operator or in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in an environment with sawdust.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and performing repetitive manual tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work the scheduled shift.
