Oakberry is a fast-growing global brand focused on serving açaí bowls, smoothies, and healthy fast food in a fun, energetic, and welcoming environment. We are opening our Fort Street Victoria location and are looking for a strong Store Manager to help lead the store from launch and build a great team and guest experience.
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, dependable Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Fort Street Victoria location. This is not a back-office manager role. We need someone who is comfortable being on the floor, leading by example, serving customers, coaching staff, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations and help create a positive, high-energy team culture
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure every guest has a welcoming experience
- Open and close the store, including cash handling and daily operational checks
- Hire, train, coach, and support team members
- Create schedules, manage shift coverage, and help maintain labour efficiency
- Oversee food preparation, product quality, cleanliness, and presentation standards
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and help reduce waste
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and store standards are consistently followed
- Support launch preparation, training, and early-stage store setup
- Step in wherever needed during busy periods to keep service smooth and efficient
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3+ years of experience in a supervisory, assistant manager, or store manager role in food service, café, smoothie, quick-service, or retail
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to keep a team accountable in a respectful, professional way
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with opening and closing responsibilities
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay organized under pressure
- Comfortable being hands-on with customers, prep, cleaning, and team support
- Interest in hospitality, health-forward food, and representing the Oakberry brand well
- FOODSAFE Level 1 is an asset; willingness to obtain it is expected
