Our company is seeking a highly efficient, dedicated and safety-oriented Truck Driver to join our team part time as a shunt truck driver, potential of more hours during peak seasons. With a commitment to reliability, safety, and efficiency, we are looking to expand our team. The right candidate will possess a successful driving record and a clear understanding of all safety standards. Working closely with the management team, the ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively to ensure continuous delivery of our products to clients. Required some weekend work, be able to speak in English and a landed immigrant or Citizen of Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Truck and Trailers
- Communicating with Dispatch via cell phone.
- Cleanliness of workspace.
- Flexibility of start time
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating a Class 1 vehicle.
- Knowledge of Lower Mainland roads and routes is preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
