We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products according to customer specifications. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work with a variety of tools and materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, soldering, riveting, and other sheet metal fabrication techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and form metal sheets into desired shapes.
- Install insulation, flashing, and other materials to complete projects.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- 308A license is an asset.
- Ability to identify problems quickly.
- Punctuality, attendance, and driven to learn.
- Positive, friendly attitude.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
· Must be physically able to perform heavy lifting.
· Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$57.00 per hour
Experience:
- Sheet Metal: 5 years (preferred)
