Housekeeper

Wages: $18.75 - $19.75/hour
Duties:
- Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Wash floors, vacuum, clean toilets, showers, tubs, etc.
- Handle and report lost and found items
- Attend to requests for extra supplies, etc., provide basic information on facilities
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls, and ceiling
- Takes personal responsibility for equipment, ensuring it is operated correctly
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products, and the correct handling procedure
- All duties should be completed in a timely fashion with high attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail is an absolute must
- Must be able to work well on your own, respectful, courteous, trustworthy, reliable, confident, and punctual
- Ability to work well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of time
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department
- Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions
- Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset but not necessary
- Open availability to work weekdays and weekends between the hours of 8am to 4pm
