SUMMARY
As a Human Resources Administrator, specializing in benefits and retirement programs, you will support the administration and coordination of employee benefits, retirement, and wellness initiatives.
You will assist in maintaining accurate employee records, support the enrollment processes, and respond to general inquiries from employees, and ensure data integrity across multiple systems and high-quality customer service for our employee population.
PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE
BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION
- Complete employee enrollment changes and updates withing the HRIS (Workday).
- Maintain trackers for new enrollment and changes.
- Assist with eligibility audits and validate benefit selections, escalating discrepancies as needed.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits coverage and eligibility.
- Maintain FAQ documents and assist with communication distribution.
RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN ADMINISTRATION
- Track employee and employer contribution changes (e.g., RRSP and pension plans).
- Support initial validation of contribution data and flag discrepancies for review.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to retirement programs and contributions.
- Assist with retirement plan enrollments, terminations, and employee updates.
- Support periodic audits and reconciliations of retirement plan data and contributions.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in Human Resources Administration, Benefits Administration or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy with data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience working with an HRIS system; Workday experience is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
- Able to process confidential information with discretion.

- Expected Base Salary: $25 - $28 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
