Pivotal Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Cold Storage Forklift Operator for our client in Brantford. If you have experience operating Crown Reach, Crown Dock Stocker, and Double Pallet Walkie equipment and are comfortable working in a fast-paced freezer environment, we want to hear from you!
Shift Available
Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Note: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, is required.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating warehouse equipment in freezer conditions while supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, and overall warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Crown Reach, Crown Dock Stocker, and Double Pallet Walkie forklifts in temperatures ranging from -20°C to -25°C
- Load and unload trailers and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Organize and maintain inventory within storage locations
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including product verification and documentation
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse records
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Perform additional warehouse duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid certification/licence for Crown Reach, Crown Dock Stocker, and Double Pallet Walkie equipment
- Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or cold storage environment
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in freezer conditions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Physically capable of lifting and moving materials as required
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
