Acuity Advisors LLP is a small full-service CPA firm located in beautiful Salmon Arm BC. Our team of professionals strives to help small businesses succeed in the Shuswap through providing bookkeeping, accounting, tax and advisory services. We are focused on using new technologies to streamline processes for our clients.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper.
As a Bookkeeper, you would have the following roles and responsibilities.
- Posting and reconciling accounting data using Quickbooks and Quickbooks Online
- Preparation of GST, PST and WCB returns
- Processing payroll and T4’s
- Preparation of client deliverables including monthly or quarterly financials
A successful candidate will have the following skills and abilities:
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience using cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Hubdoc)
- Exceptional computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
- Ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple tasks
- Experience interacting with clients and responding to their demands
- Previous experience working in an accounting or bookkeeping office would be an asset.
This would be a full-time, in-office, salaried position with a 35 hour work week (M-F).
