Requirements;
- 8 years of renovation experience in an ICI environment.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required on time sensitive projects.
- Ability to rotate in the emergency after-hour on-call schedule.
- Skilled at a variety of renovation tasks such as steel stud framing, T-bar ceiling systems, drywall, painting, tiling, flooring, windows, commercial door systems and hardware and finish trim-work.
- Proficient at safely operating hand and power tools.
- Able to read blueprints and follow engineer/designer specifications.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions and work efficiently in a high paced environment.
- Experience leading, or working alongside, crews of both skilled trades and general labourers.
- Excellent customer service skills, including reporting daily job progress reports.
- Professional attire and manner.
- Dependable late model vehicle to arrive at our facility for start of day.
Candidates will be requested to provide a clear criminal background check and drivers abstract to be eligible for hire.
Nice to Have;
- 12 or more years experience renovating in an Industrial / Commercial / Institutional Environment.
- 5 or more years with commercial steel frame and door/hardware experience.
- 5 or more years with T-Bar Ceiling grid and tile experience.
- Experience motivating, teaching and leading a team.
- Current safety certificates : WHMIS, Working At Heights, Aerial Lift, etc.
