Job Summary
We are seeking a Red Seal Refrigeration/ HVAC Technician to join our Bree-Link team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot HVAC issues by interpreting schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to build, weld, and plumb necessary components for HVAC installations.
- Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and repairs needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build, maintain, and repair various HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques related to HVAC equipment is a plus.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
