Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively greet and assist customers throughout the store.
- Maintain an organized and clean stockroom. Assist customers by safely loading materials into their vehicles (e.g., soil, peat moss, toilets, vanities, etc.)
- Cross-train into our Rental Department, assisting customers with rental contracts, building windows and screen repair, some small engine repair and maintenance on rental equipment.
- Unload delivery trucks bi-weekly and assist the store receiver, when needed.
- Support team members with projects involving heavy lifting or large items.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, compassion, and professionalism when interacting with customers.
- Participate in mandatory training sessions, seminars, webinars, and meetings to expand job knowledge.
- Complete all required Health and Safety Training in compliance with government and company regulations.
- Work safely and follow all health and safety protocols and legislation.
- Identify and report unsafe working conditions or potential hazards to management promptly.
- Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
