The Opportunity
New-Line is currently seeking a full-time Hose Picker / Forklift Operator to join our team on the Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. shift.
As part of the Order Picking department, this role plays an important part in supporting exceptional customer service by accurately and efficiently picking outgoing customer orders and branch transfers. This is a fast-paced, hands-on, and physically active role ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, operating equipment, working with their hands, and learning technical skills in a specialized industry.
You will work with a variety of warehouse tools and equipment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, teamwork, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Pick stocked products in the warehouse to accurately fulfill customer orders and branch transfers
- Pick, measure, cut, and wrap hose orders to specific measurements while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Operate a variety of warehouse equipment and tools, including forklifts, high reach equipment, saws, and cutting tools
- Ensure the correct tools and procedures are used when cutting hose, maintaining the highest regard for safety and quality standards
- Ensure orders are picked accurately, packaged correctly, and prepared according to customer requirements
- Support smooth warehouse operations by filling orders in an organized and efficient manner
- Stage items appropriately for shipping and delivery, including safely wrapping skids when required
- Communicate order status, timelines, and completion updates with team members regularly
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team and order coordinators to achieve operational goals
- Demonstrate safe working practices at all times when lifting products or operating tools, equipment, and machinery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the immediate work area throughout the day
- Assist with basic building and machine maintenance as required
- Support additional warehouse duties as assigned
What You Bring
You have:
- Forklift experience, including Sit-Down Counterbalance and/or Lift Truck operation
- A mechanically inclined mindset and interest in learning more about the hose and fitting industry
- Confidence working with tools, equipment, and machinery in a hands-on environment
- The ability to safely lift, push, move, and carry both light and heavy products throughout the day, including lifting up to 50 lbs comfortably
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to accurately locate and identify products required to fulfill orders
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; you work well with others while also being self-motivated and dependable when working independently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A strong interest in learning and growing professionally, particularly within industrial parts and service environments
