We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our Long-Term Care team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, administering medications and treatments, completing clinical documentation, and supporting residents' overall health and well-being. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure care is delivered in accordance with legislative requirements, quality standards, and the organization's mission and values.

Based on applicable qualifications and experience
- Diploma in Practical Nursing

Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Current AIS Certification
-
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate

Current Medication Administration certificate (if applicable)

Post-graduate studies in Geriatrics and/or Nursing Administration considered an asset
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing preferred
- Strong nursing knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration

Understanding of Long-Term Care legislation, the Long-Term Care Homes Act, and the Resident's Bill of Rights

Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills when working with unregulated healthcare workers

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

Ability to manage a resident home area and effectively assign duties

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, email, internet use, and computerized documentation systems
