Janitor – Cold Storage - (Temporary to Permanent)
About Our Client
Our client, a cold storage company in the Brampton area has been in business for over 100+ years is expanding and looking for a dynamic individual to add to their growing team.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Janitor:
● Sweep and mop floors, emptying trash, and cleaning surfaces. Clean and disinfect cafeteria and break rooms.
● Use cleaning solutions, clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges.
● Clean and disinfect cafeteria and break rooms.
● Clean Washrooms and disinfectants
● Lifting
● Use/Drive floor scrubbing machine *Must have previous experience
● Working in a COLD STORAGE FACILITY
● Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Janitor:
● Previous experience in a janitor role
● Excellent Communication skills
● Able to lift to 30lbs as needed
● Attention to detail.
● Must be able to clear a crim check
In Return, You Will Receive:
● $22/hour + shift premiums
● Paid weekly, every Friday. (1 week behind)
● Opportunity for permanent hire
● 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
● Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
The Shift You Will be Working is:
● Monday to Friday
● Morning shifts, Afternoon shifts, Night shifts
● 7am – 3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
Where You Will Be Working, as a MHE Operator:
● Brampton, ON
● Please ensure bus availability prior to accepting if personal transportation is not available
