Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team in providing exceptional home care services in Canada. Based in <LOCATION>, this role is vital in delivering compassionate support to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as prescribed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Support clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Follow care plans developed by Care Managers to meet individual needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure satisfaction.
- Qualifications
- Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification.
- Proven experience in home health care or related fields.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate attitude with a strong sense of professionalism.
- Knowledge of medication administration and dementia care is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical tasks related to client mobility support.
- Flexibility to adapt to different client needs.
