Cloverdale Paint is seeking (2) ambitious individuals for a full-time Quality Control Technician position in our Oakville facility.
We are looking for someone to work full-time hours weekly.
We are looking for:
- (1) Individual to work 8-hour shifts for 5 days a week from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- (1) Individual to work 10-hour shifts for 4 evenings from 3:00 pm to 1:00 am
Wage is negotiable depending on previous experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follows all safety guidelines and rules; environmental and regulatory guidelines; uses all required safety equipment, reports any unsafe conditions or actions observed.
- Maintains quality and cleanliness of the work area and lab equipment.
- Able to work independently with minimal direct supervision in support of production filling schedules
- Responsible for accurately testing products and approving them timely
- Provide solutions to problems in relation to the quality and approval of production batches
- Makes decisions on the acceptability of product being produced, making hits and adjustments to batches as necessary and ensures high standards of quality are maintained
- Interacts with Production and Process employees on issues of product quality
- Completes quality documents and electronic records to maintain accurate paperwork of results
- Maintain required production database information
- Follows all standard technical procedures and exercises good judgment and initiative
- Adapt to rapid growth of business
- Adjust production batches to achieve conformity to specifications
- Ensure their daily assigned calibrations are in working order
REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, and competence in math and numeric comprehension
- 2-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in chemical environment and/or in paint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn new skills
- Competency with weighing and dispensing equipment
- Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lb regularly
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Available for shift work and overtime
- Strong work ethic, with a can-do attitude
- Familiarity with ISO and 5S is preferred.

The essential function of this position involves physical duties, including the regular lifting, carrying, and moving of paint containers and related products weighing up to 70 pounds individually or with appropriate lifting equipment when required.
