Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate veterinary team. Duties
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures
- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient
- Provide compassionate care and support to hospitalized animals
- Educate pet owners on post-treatment care and health management
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments and treatment areas
- Support inventory management by stocking supplies and medications
Skills
- Proven laboratory experience is highly desirable to efficiently perform diagnostic tests
- Strong understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals and their well-being
