TAC Sports is seeking a full-time Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Camp Instructor to lead a structured, high-energy, and discipline-focused summer camp program for campers of all skill levels. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about martial arts, youth development, and teaching in a safe and controlled environment.
The MMA Camp program introduces campers to a variety of martial arts disciplines—including striking, grappling, and movement fundamentals—while emphasizing safety, respect, discipline, and self-confidence. Instructors will guide campers through progressive skill development, fitness training, and controlled drills in a fun and supportive setting.

Lead MMA camp sessions in a safe, structured, and age-appropriate environment

Teach foundational techniques from disciplines such as boxing, kickboxing, and basic grappling (non-contact or controlled contact)

Emphasize proper technique, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship
-
Lead fitness and conditioning drills to improve strength, agility, coordination, and endurance
-
Facilitate controlled drills, pad work, and skill-based challenges (no unsafe sparring)
-
Adapt instruction to suit a range of ages, abilities, and experience levels
-
Provide individualized feedback to support skill development and confidence
-
Promote a positive and inclusive training environment focused on growth and safety
-
Supervise campers during activities, transitions, and breaks to ensure safety and appropriate behaviour
-
Assist with daily camp setup, cleanup, and equipment organization
-
Build positive relationships with campers, families, and TAC Sports staff
-
Follow TAC Sports’ program plans, safety procedures, and child supervision standards at all times
-
Experience working with children in camps, sports programs, or martial arts settings
-
Background in martial arts (e.g., MMA, boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, or similar disciplines)
-
Ability to teach techniques in a safe, controlled, and age-appropriate manner
-
Strong understanding of safety protocols and proper training methods
-
Energetic, patient, and confident leading groups in an active environment
-
Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
-
Ability to create a disciplined yet fun and encouraging atmosphere
-
Coaching or instructional experience in martial arts is an asset
-
Background in kinesiology, recreation, or physical education is an asset
-
First Aid/CPR certification and Vulnerable Sector Check, or willingness to obtain them, preferred
