Job description:
Sanitation Technician/Lead (Day/night shift, Monday to Sunday)
The sanitation Technician/Lead is responsible for managing and leading the sanitation team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the facility. They ensure that all cleaning procedures and protocols are followed diligently to prevent the spread of germs, maintain a healthy environment, and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities and requirements include:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, facilities, and surfaces in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards and company procedures.
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules (SSOPs) to ensure cleanliness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all cleaning agents, sanitizers, and equipment are used according to safety and GMP guidelines.
- Dismantling, sanitizing assembling them
- Able to handle chemicals and follow PPE instruction
- Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, including cleaning logs, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance.
- Document and report any issues or deviations encountered during cleaning processes.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for audits, inspections, and internal assessments.
- Ensure proper maintenance of sanitation tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and address minor issues with sanitation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform deep cleaning of production areas and equipment during scheduled shutdowns.
- Work closely with production, quality assurance, and safety teams to ensure that sanitation practices align with production schedules and safety standards.
- Provide support during the setup and breakdown of production lines, ensuring all areas are thoroughly sanitized before and after each run.
- Monitor and manage cleanliness in critical areas to minimize the risk of cross-contamination and help in Allergen Control.
- Follow strict protocols for the cleaning of controlled zones, including processing rooms, dish washing stations , packaging areas and washrooms.
- Identify and address any potential sanitation-related issues that could affect product quality or compliance.
- Assist in the management of cleaning supplies and chemicals, ensuring inventory levels are adequate.
- Properly store and handle cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines and GMP requirements.
