Mr. Lube is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. We're seeking someone with strong automotive maintenance experience who can perform services efficiently, provide honest maintenance recommendations, and help mentor team members.
Our Upper Technicians are the face of the shop responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience while performing essential vehicle maintenance services and recommending services required for proper vehicle maintenance and safety.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform preventive maintenance services, including oil changes and fluid exchanges.
· Conduct vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs.
· Recommend manufacturer-recommended maintenance services based on vehicle age, time, and mileage.
· Educate customers on upcoming maintenance requirements and explain service recommendations clearly.
· Replace filters, batteries, wiper blades, lights, and other maintenance items.
· Perform tire rotations and seasonal tire changeovers (where applicable).
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
· Support and mentor junior team members while contributing to a positive team culture.
Qualifications
· 2–5+ years of automotive maintenance experience.
· Strong understanding of manufacturer maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Valid driver's license is an asset.
· Automotive certification or apprenticeship is an asset but not required.

- We are hiring an Upper Technician at our Mayor Magrath & 3rd Ave S location. We are open 7 days per week, shifts for this open position are Monday - Sunday from 8:00am - 8:00pm. We need team members who have full-time availability during ANY of these days and shifts. Basic automotive knowledge, hands on skills, hand tools experience are an asset. Customer service and sales experience are required.
