We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Construction Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a wide range of construction tasks on commercial projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your hands-on expertise will help bring large-scale building visions to life, contributing to the creation of functional, durable, and aesthetically pleasing structures. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project requirements
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently on-site
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration projects to ensure structural integrity and quality standards
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tiles, and perform masonry work to meet design specifications
- Conduct plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, welding, caulking, and painting tasks as needed for various phases of construction
- Support construction estimating activities by providing accurate material and labor input for project planning
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial construction or related fields with a strong understanding of construction processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and caulking techniques
- Familiarity with construction estimating methods and safety regulations on job sites
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and quality workmanship
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
