We are looking for a strong, dependable Sous Chef to join our growing culinary team in the heart of Thornbury. This is an opportunity for a passionate cook and leader to work alongside a fast-paced, creative kitchen team focused on quality, consistency, and hospitality.
We operate high-volume breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner services with a strong emphasis on scratch cooking, seasonal features, and team culture.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting the Executive Chef and management team with daily kitchen operations
- Leading and motivating line cooks and prep staff during service
- Maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and organization in all stations
- Assisting with prep lists, ordering, inventory, and waste control
- Ensuring all food is prepared to recipe and presentation standards
- Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
- Supporting menu development and feature creation
- Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership kitchen role
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
- Experience with brunch and sauté stations considered a strong asset
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Food Handler Certification preferred
