Select People Solutions is partnering with our client to recruit a dependable and hardworking Farm Hand to support daily agricultural operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and contributing to a productive farming environment. Compensation & Hours:
- The rate of pay will be $20-25/hr, depending on experience
- Full-time, temporary position
- Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekends as required during busy seasons
Position Summary:
- Assist with daily farm operations and general property maintenance
- Operate tractors and other farm equipment as required
- Load, unload, and transport materials, seed, or supplies
- Support planting, harvesting, irrigation, and other seasonal activities
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment and report mechanical concerns
- Monitor work areas and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized farm environment
- Complete general labour duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Previous farm, agricultural, or outdoor labour experience
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate farm equipment
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labour
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Bonus Points For:
- Experience operating tractors, skid steers, or other agricultural equipment
- Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license
- Mechanical aptitude or equipment maintenance experience
