Reporting to the Director of Financial Performance and Systems, you will take on critical responsibilities related to the group's accounting cycle and contribute to the optimization of certain processes and tools.

Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the data

Analyze detailed financial results and explain variances between actual results and forecasts

Produce management reports, analyses, and dashboards to support decision-making

Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process efficiency improvements

Contribute to the structuring, analysis, and optimization of financial databases

Develop and implement cost accounting methodologies aligned with industry best practices

Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards (ASPE/IFRS) and company policies

Support external audit processes by preparing audit schedules and providing required documentation

Analyze, review, and resolve complex accounting discrepancies and issues

Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of accounting policies, internal controls, and processes

Participate in the implementation and evolution of accounting and financial systems
Qualifications:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting

Be a certified CPA (an asset)

Accumulate 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role or as a professional within accounting firms

Show strong intellectual curiosity and excellent analytical and synthesis skills

Be fluent in French and English, both spoken and written*

Show advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI

Have knowledge of ERP and financial planning systems (an asset)
