Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of machinery and equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Candidates with dealership experience, mechanic expertise, and familiarity with heavy equipment are highly preferred. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and machinery, including cars, trucks.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and specialized diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and system inspections.
- Repair electrical systems, HVAC units, welding components, and mechanical assemblies as needed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during heavy lifting or equipment operation.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs needed or completed.
- Assist in the assembly or disassembly of mechanical parts and systems during repair processes.
Experience
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic with a strong understanding of automotive repair procedures.
- Experience working with heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment operation and maintenance is desirable.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics interpretation, welding techniques, HVAC systems, and power tools is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with heavy lifting and the use of hand tools and power tools in a maintenance setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
