Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Online English Tutor to provide engaging and effective language instruction to students of various ages. This remote position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' language development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and experience working with children. Prior classroom or tutoring experience is highly valued. As an Online English Tutor, you will create a supportive learning environment, tailor lessons to individual student needs, and foster confidence in English language skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one or group online English lessons tailored to each student's proficiency level and learning goals
- Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate interactive activities, multimedia resources, and assessments
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
- Maintain a positive, encouraging classroom atmosphere that motivates students to participate actively
- Utilize online teaching platforms effectively and troubleshoot technical issues as needed
- We have teaching assistant work with you, she will communicate with parents and teachers will focus on teaching only
- Stay current with best practices in language teaching and incorporate innovative methods into your instruction
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or tutoring settings is preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching English or related language courses
- Classroom experience or tutoring background that highlights strong instructional skills
- Familiarity with online teaching tools, platforms, and digital resources is a plus
- Passion for education and helping students achieve their language learning goals
Pay: $18.09-$30.00 per hour
