Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems and manage cash handling accurately during transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food safety procedures, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure prompt service
- Support team members in kitchen operations and front-of-house duties as needed
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
