Position: Summer Camp Counsellor
Position Overview:
This position is funded in part through the Canada Summer Jobs Program and therefore, to be eligible, youth must:
- between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the program
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and,
- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
We are looking for a Junior Office Clerk to join our team and provide administrative support to our staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and other general office duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and answer incoming calls.
- Perform data entry and filing duties.
- Maintain records and databases.
- Provide general administrative support to the respite house staff.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Order office supplies and equipment as needed.
- Organize and maintain office files and records.
- Work with outside agencies on funding sources.
- Booking clientele in our respite house.
- Support floor staff when needed
- Creating invoice and bills for clientele
Job Types: Seasonal, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: $22.00 per hour
