We have an immediate opening for a Power Tool Repair Technician to join our service team. The primary responsibilities include diagnosing, servicing, and repairing power tools and small electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, along with hands-on experience. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who can accurately diagnose issues, provide effective solutions, and deliver excellent customer service.
Skills:
- Electrical knowledge is essential
- Experience in service and repair is preferred; some training will be provided.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Computer literate; training will be provided on our software program for documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- The capability to work independently as well as being a positive and supportive team member.
- Interest in continual learning, and a desire to upgrade your skills and knowledge.
Duties:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete repairs for all aspects of electrical tool repair and maintenance.
- Perform accurate testing and repair work as assigned.
- Manage repairs, including estimation, part ordering, actual repairs, and customer communication
- Follow systems and work within established procedures.
- Provide top-notch customer service.
- Follow established systems and procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and consistently represent the company in a positive light.
Requirements:
- Electrical experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Dependable.
- Computer literate.
- Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
