Job Summary
We are seeking 3 skilled and dynamic Chefs to join our culinary team. The ideal candidates will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive food preparation experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a key member of our kitchen management, the Chef will support the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food service. Duties
- Assist in supervising kitchen staff, including cooks and food handlers, to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food quality.
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and consistency, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations.
- Manage food inventory, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Support the opererations manager in coordinating service operations during shifts.
- Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and functioning correctly.
- Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and leadership within the kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a convention centre or hospitality setting.
- Supervising experience or prior leadership roles in a culinary environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in catering management tasks such as inventory control and quality assurance.
- Exceptional culinary skills with a focus on presentation and consistency.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and customer service excellence is desirable.
- A professional attitude with a passion for hospitality and serving guests at the highest level.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
