Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install fixtures and cabinetry.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, secure, and align fixtures according to project specifications.
- Install various fixtures including light boxes, shelving, cabinets, signage, millwork, etc.
- Perform restoration work as needed, including touch-up painting and surface preparation for seamless integration.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of installations while maintaining safety standards.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the process to verify proper fit, finish, and functionality of installed fixtures.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail installation with a strong background in fixture and signage installation or related fields.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as drills, saws, levels, hammers, and screwdrivers efficiently.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately for precise execution.
- Previous experience working on renovation projects or in commercial fixturing projects is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills ensures high-quality results on every project.
