Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mobile Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing Hydrovac trucks, with a focus on electrical systems and hydraulic components. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and assembling equipment, ensuring optimal performance for our clients. A commitment to customer service and safety is essential.
Duties
- Diagnose mechanical issues using hand tools and specialized diagnostic equipment.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed for repairs or upgrades.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs to ensure proper functionality of all systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy equipment technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hydrovacs is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques specific to our trucks.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks associated with the job.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driver's license required; additional certifications related to heavy equipment maintenance are advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
