Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate project estimates, managing bid processes, and supporting project planning initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing advanced estimating tools and techniques to ensure competitive and profitable bids. The Senior Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to deliver comprehensive cost analyses and pricing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed Commercial Landscape construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and scope of work using tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid.
- Prepare accurate pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services to ensure competitive bids.
- Lead negotiations with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Coordinate with project management teams to review project requirements, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage the entire bidding process from initial inquiry through proposal submission, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Utilize project management skills to oversee multiple estimates simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

- Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating or project management software.
- Excellent negotiation skills for engaging with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Strong project management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies within the construction industry to ensure competitive yet profitable bids.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting estimates clearly.
- Ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications, and contractual documents accurately.
REQUIREMENTS
- A background in construction or related field is preferred; relevant certifications or training are a plus.
